Plaster Rock, New Brunswick | Saltwater Birch Studio

Where did May go?

It’s been a…busy month. I’ve had to put side projects on hold as I prepared for an upcoming exhibit and tried to meet the deadlines of submission calls. That said, a lot happened.

Prepare to be bombarded with way too many photos.

Also went on a short weekend excursion to Montreal. It was a pretty drive. Especially the Plaster Rock Highway section – it may be the most dangerous road in New Brunswick, considering it’s a very curvy road straight through uninhabited forest (which means lots of wildlife)…and, there’s no cell reception. But the spectacular views (sort of) make up for it!

Now that this month has wrapped up, I’ll be posting more frequently.

I’ll leave you with a sneak peek of the title for next week’s post: things no one tells you about becoming an artist.
